I am not going into the merits or demerits of GM food . This is an area which is already getting oodles of attention. As far as I am concerned, we don’t have a definitive answer as yet beause the science is not settled. But interesting observation: a significant percentage of Americans eat GM food ( corn, soya) but don’t know that they do so. Wonder why? Is this an informed choice then and can it be used to validate/promote GM vegetables in other parts of the world. am not a specialist and would like to be enlightened
